I remember what it was like to be a trainee counsellor; the amount of work and then placement, needing to pay out on the course, books, supervision and personal counselling. Knowing this is what I wanted to do but at the same time wondering if I could afford it all and fit it all in along side my personal life consisting of a job and a family.
This is why I decided to offer reduced rates for personal counselling for trainee counsellors.
Face-to-face sessions are £45 for 1 hour and online sessions are £35. All I need to see is proof of a CPCAB course and the required hours.
Counselling can be Face-to-Face (in the Plymouth area), or online, or a combination to suit your needs. Sessions can be weekly or fortnightly.
I aim to provide you with a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings, to listen without judgement, and to hear what you have to say. I am here to guide you with reflective questions, giving you space to process what you have said. This should assist you with gaining an insight into why you might be feeling this way, and how moving forward we can look at what tools you have to support your well-being
We are all unique and process things in different ways, so I will try and find a way that works for you, to support you through your processing.
